/* Hi, I am Leo Strangman [LCS] */
- I am a software engineer and designer who loves to combine innovative technology with unique design
- I have always been fascinated by the intersection of physical hardware and intuitive software that brings it to life
- I enjoy crafting responsive, high-fidelity, and accessible interfaces that provide seamless user experiences
- I also thrive on collaborative software engineering and solving complex challenges from prototyping to production
-
/* I am a recent WPI CS/DS Graduate */
- Originally from Boxford, MA, I recently graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and am located in Boston
- I currently hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science from WPI
- My work spans full-stack web development, medical robotics, UI/UX design, data analysis, and AI/ML
- I have learned that the most impactful projects are a mix of good design and better engineering
-
/* My Experience */
- Most recently, I was a lead developer on SCALPEL-IR, a tablet system controlling a robotic-assisted laser surgery platform
- I have also completed a multi-year internship at Massachusetts General Hospital working on space medicine research
- I automated data analysis with ML to assist research into the effects of microgravity on the human body and brain
- I also developed multiple full-stack web applications and designed hardware to be used on the International Space Station
-
/* I Am Open to Work */
- I am actively seeking a full-time software engineering role where I can meaningfully contribute to a team
- I am eager to continue my growth as a developer and see the real-world impacts of my work
- Whether it involves front-end interfaces, robotics, or data pipelines, I am excited to explore the field
- I want to work with people who are as excited about the work they do as I am
